The footfall for the camp was 400 patients. NCDs screening, High Risk Pregnancy screening, Juvenile Diabetes treatment, Leprosy treatment and Speech disorder rehabilitation were carried out by the five member team from Medicine, OBGY, Paediatrics, Dermatology and ENT.
As part of the Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 celebrations, a sensitization session on the theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility” was conducted by Shri M. Ramachandran, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Ramanathapuram District. Prof. Dr. A. M. Raja, Chief Vigilance Officer, AIIMS Madurai, delivered the special address, emphasizing the importance of transparency and ethical conduct in institutional practices. An awareness pamphlet was released during the event, followed by a debate competition in the presence of Prof. Dr. C. P. Ganesh Babu, Dean (In-Charge), AIIMS Madurai. The program concluded with an awareness rally involving faculty members, students, and non-teaching staff, underscoring collective responsibility in building a corruption-free campus. In addition, the Vigilance Committee organized various other awareness activities, including an outreach program at Mohamed Sathak Dasthagir Teacher Training College and a sensitization program for Data Entry Operators (DEOs) of AIIMS Madurai.
