Successfully conducted the Preventive Pediatric Toxicology Awareness Program for women parents at Avarendal Village, R S Mangalam Block, Ramanathapuram, on 21 August 2026, in association with CERDE (Centre for Rural Development and Education) and AIIMS Madurai The programme focused on the prevention of accidental childhood poisoning through practical, visually oriented awareness on common household poisons, safe storage, routes of exposure, warning signs, first-aid measures, and the importance of timely hospital care The initiative aimed to empower mothers and parents with simple, practical knowledge to prevent poisoning, recognise danger signs early, and seek appropriate medical care without delay 🙏 Sincere thanks to Prof (Dr) Prashant Lavania, President, AIIMS Madurai, and Prof (Dr) Vir Singh Negi, Executive Director & CEO, AIIMS Madurai, for their valuable support and encouragement Heartfelt appreciation to CERDE, Ramanathapuram, and everyone who contributed to making this community-based child-safety initiative a success Prevention begins at home Awareness protects children Together, we can make every home safer for every child ❤️.
